Goals

Victory points

Minimum between 30 and 40 VP

Resources

• 2 / 3 x same goods
• 1 x gold
• 1 x gold + 1 x goods
• 2 / 3 x water
• 1 x water + (1 x goods / 1 VP token / 1 x gold)
• 2 x water + 1 x goods

You still get victory points for water, even if you have to own it to fulfill this objective.

Robber / display

Either the game is shortened, or you must have a number of tribe cards in your display.

• Max round is card 14 / 15 / 16
• Display 10 / 11 / 12 tribe cards

Rows

At game end, you must have full rows in your display:

• Minimum of 1 row with (all different cards / all same cards)
• Minimum of 1 row with all different cards + 1 row with all same cards
• Minimum of 2 rows with (all different cards / all same cards)
• 3 rows all with (all different cards / all same cards)

Obstacle

The obstacles make the game more difficult.

• You start the game without any resources, just 4 victory points
• You can't exchange water for gold or resources without using the merchant
• You must pay twice at the third raid
• You can't exchange water for gold or resources at the dealer
• You can't place your targi opposite the robber
• You can't place your targi opposite the targia
• You lose the ability of your first tribal card. Turn this card upside down
• Remove the targia for this game
• At every raid, you must pay one extra resource or victory point (each time, choose either)
• Each round, you can only place one targi on a shifting dune
• At the end of the game, you get one less bonus point for each completed row
• You can't receive victory points from shifting dunes (you still get resources)

Placing Andy's targi

If the border card is occupied or forbidden, choose the next free one (counting clockwise).

After placing all the targi you do all of your actions normally. Discard any intersection cards Andy claims without performing any actions.
